Big task for NBC against Works in preliminary

Sports

IT will be a daunting task for National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) as they face Works in the preliminary final of the Public Servants Netball Association premier division at the Rita Flynn Indoor Complex in Port Moresby tomorrow.
The match is expected to be close as the team that makes fewer errors will eventually come out victors to meet National Fisheries Authority in the grand final next Saturday. The loser bow out of the title race.
Works shooter Kimberly Alex will be the key for her team’s premiership hopes. Works will be high on confidence after they beat National Housing Corporation 22-14 last week.
Works have the depth and will capitalise on this to run down the opposition. NBC captain Rachel Kida should monitor and control their attack in the crucial stages. This was NBC’s downfall in their 21-23 defeat by National Fisheries Authority.
Shooters Genevieve Ume and Kelebi Ipai should dominate the hoop.
NBC coach Lilian Yaruso: “It’s all about getting off to a good start and building on that momentum.”
