Binatangs ready to defend South Pacific Cup

THE Under-16 Binatangs are geared to defend the AFL South Pacific Cup for a second year.
A final squad of 25 istraining in Port Moresby, in preparation for the annual South Pacific Cup, scheduled for Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, Australia, from April 11-16.
PNG currently are the reigning champions. Although the majority of the team are new, second timers such as Kataha Siwee, Lawrence Kavanamur, Peter Lavong and John Susuve, gives the team a good chance to retain the cup this year.
The squad comprises of boys who came through the regional championships and the Talent Camps last year in Kavieng, Lae, Bialla and Port Moresby.
The team coached by Brad Drew leaves for Australia on April 10.
