Bishop: Put God first in church work

IF people are to build the church, they have to build it with God at its centre because there is nothing impossible with God, a bishop says.
Lae diocese Bishop Rozario Menezes shared challenges faced in evangelising in the diocese.
He said his primary responsibility was to support the people by building the Church with God as its epicentre.
“When we have God at the centre of our church, we can lead our people to reach God’s Kingdom,” Bishop Menezes said.
“Without God at the centre or our church surrounding God, then not much of anything can be achieved.”
He said without the grace of God, little could be accomplished.
“Nothing is impossible for God when we put Him at the centre of our Church,” he said.
He noted the advantages that parishes in towns receive through media coverage.
