Block porn sites in country

Letters

PORN sites should be blocked in Papua New Guinea.
Access to porn sites through the use of the internet will have detrimental effects to a person’s wellbeing.
Porn is addictive as it releases an addictive chemical called dopamine, which has similar effects of a drug.
The neurotransmitter chemical, dopamine, has good health impacts when released in a required amount.
It helps in soothing stress and relieves the body from hypertension.
However, when released too often, it will have adverse effects on our health.
We can see the effects of porn happening right around the country.
For instance, rape, incest, and adultery cases have been prevalent in the society.
The continuous accounts of sexual abuse is slowly making society accept it as a norm. Thus it is unhealthy for Papua New Guinea to continue on the trend but address it at the root level.
Aren’t we a Christian country that believe in high moral standards?
Some tough actions should be taken to block access to porn sites and dealing with its effects.
The Government needs to act on that.
We have to live up to the Bible principles.
Our Government should not consider prostitution illegal especially when it’s allowing people to access porn sites.

Save PNG

  • Maybe 2050. It’s more than what you think. Million of sites and it’s created daily. Yumi no fit lo stopim. Teach you children to abstain.

    • Mr WEST TARAKA—-
Its not more than just what you think or else you are thinking it the wrong way..
Iternet receivers and Satellites transmitters/ are programmed to accept or reject any from of naming words…
If we make it unacceptable or not process or error command-thus it will troubleshoot into the air space radius and make it completely null and void!
ITS NOT IMPOSSIBLE- so start to learn to make use of your computer/phones rather than shouthing without thinking.

Kain pasin blo yupla tsol na WEST TARAK NA KANTRI wok lo Bagarap stap!!!

  • DPNG Dai Hart. This is not an isolated issue, people in authority especially NICTA should seriously look into this and block it from the satellite so that people can not access it. People old and young access this dreadful disease in the remotest area in PNG. I know what I am talking about.
