A BLOCKBUSTER is in store when in-form franchises Goroka Lahanis and Rabaul Gurias meet at the Kalabond in Round 13 of Digicel Cup rugby league in Kokopo on Sunday.

The Lahanis have the beef and the clout to match the Gurias, but the homeside are a totally different outfit in the Graveyard.

If they do it will break some sort of record and that will come down to their forwards led by Nicko Ubile, George Abba, Gonzella Urakusie, Wesley Mohokule and boom lock Bernard Tatsim Jr to pave the way through the middle.

If the heat gets to the Lahanis, then it will be a long day with the Gurias flashy backs likely to carve up at the slightest sign of weakness.

In Port Moresby, the Mendi Muruks are shadows of their former selves but they should give the Port Moresby Vipers a good run at the Lloyd Robson Oval on Sunday.

The Muruks languishing at the bottom of the points table, have taken it upon themselves to finish the season in style.

With the Vipers sitting precariously in fifth spot, they certainly cannot afford anymore losses and will be driving the point home against the frustrated Muruks.

Muruks mentor Pr. Isaac Joseph believes his inexperienced side is growing with confidence and an upset is in the offing with the return of Wesley Benny to complement top players Isaac Mel, Anton Kui, Richard Mapi and Joshua Molsi.
