Bmobile opens kiosk for customer convenience

BMOBILE-Vodafone opened a kiosk located on third floor of the new Papindo Shopping Centre in 7th Street, Lae, yesterday.
The kiosk is the second of the company’s retail outlets to be established in Lae, after a flagship was opened at Lae Post Office in 3rd Street.
National retail manager Jennifer Imatana said the kiosk opening was good for the company because it would be convenient for customers.
“We want to increase convenience by providing another location for our valued customers in Morobe,” she said.
“This is so that they can purchase their bmobile-Vodafone and 4GLTE products and services.
“Bmobile-Vodafone would like to set the retail benchmark in PNG so that our customers can experience the same level of customer service as what people in other countries experience on a daily basis.”
The company has seven outlets in Port Moresby, and is slowly expanding to other centres, with one outlet in Goroka, two in Mt Hagen and now with the second outlet in Lae.
Imatana said the retail footprint was slowly expanding since May last year.
“Retail is a new thing to bmobile-Vodafone, and slowly we are getting there,” she said.
“As time goes by, we are planning to expand in Lae as well as other parts of the country.”
To celebrate the occasion, a giveaway promotion exclusively for the kiosk opening commenced yesterday, and will continue until March 8.
Customers need to spend more than K20 at the kiosk for a chance to win a Discovery II Mini handset.
Imatana said the kiosk operated similar to the flagship, where SIM cards were sold and registered, including sale of all bmobile-Vodafone products.
She said bmobile-Vodafone was the first company to open an outlet on the third floor or retail shops’ floor of Papindo Building.
