Bmobile terminates cooperation deal with Vodafone

BMOBILE Ltd has announced that it officially terminated its cooperation agreement with Vodafone on May 1.
Bmobile and Vodafone first entered into the cooperation agreement in April 2014.
The agreement covered a five-year period in which bmobile traded as bmobile-Vodafone in both Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.
“There have been several stages involved to ensure the brand integrity of both bmobile and Vodafone are maintained,” bmobile said in a statement.
“We confirm that the Top Kads and SIM cards currently in circulation and on sale within PNG and the Solomon Islands which still carry the bmobile-Vodafone logo or references to Vodafone and its proprietary marks are still valid and operative.”
Through mutual consent, this ends the companies’ partnership agreement in Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.
