THE body of man believed to be in his early 20s was found lying in front of a family home in Morata in the nation’s capital yesterday.

George Kalen, a former security guard from Enga, said he found the man lying in front of his house at 5am yesterday.

“He is believed to have been murdered further down at Morata 2 then dragged in a vehicle before he was left near my house,” Kalen said.

He said the body was left in front of his house because it was at a dark corner.

“They left it there and went back.I did not see the vehicle but came out at 5.30am to discover the body there.”

Police arrived a few minutes later to take the body to the Port Moresby General Hospital morgue.

NCD/Central divisional commander Jim Andrews said police were investigating the case.
