Body gets ready for touch titles

 TOUCH Football Papua New Guinea has set tomorrow as the deadline for all fees requirements.
TFPNG advised all the members of the deadline and requirements earlier this week.
Junior vice-president and tournament director John Aidaboe said affiliates were also reminded to submit documentation for registration of divisional teams and player lists.
Aidaboe said payments needed to be made before the National Touch Championships at Murray Barracks, Port Moresby, from April 18- 21. A players’ and officials’ fee was K20 per head and player registration to TFPNG was K5 per player.
Aidaboe said TFPNG would not tolerate unregistered teams, players and officials. All payments should be deposited in the TFPNG account at the Boroko ANZ cheque account number 12257216.
“The national body wants all associations to fax or email copies of the bank deposit slips for our records to avoid inconvenience.
All the registration documentation containing all players listed for each divisional team must be submitted to the TFPNG tournament director by tomorrow.
The information would be critical in developing draws for the tournament. Aidaboe said there were nine divisional teams: Open men, Open Women, Open Mix, Senior Men/Women (30 plus), Senior Mix (30 under), Masters men (40 plus), Junior Boys/Girls (12-19 years).
Affiliates must produce proof of age (birth certificates) for junior and senior divisions.
