Bombers, Pies warned by Lai

GEREKA Bombers and Gerehu Magpies are under pressure to show whether they can operate as footballs in the Port Moresby AFL competition.
That was the stern warning issued to both clubs this week by POMAFL president Douglas Lai ahead of the second round of matches after both teams failed to turn up last week for their clash.
“We want them to stay in the competition but they have to turn up”, said Lai.
The Magpies take on the University Tigers in the midday clash tomorrow while the Bombers face the Bomana Cats on Sunday.
The match of the round sees the grand final replay between the Dockers and Koboni in the main match tomorrow at 3pm.
