He thanked the Australian government under the PNG-APP for funding the refurbishment of the facility and the motorbikes and vehicles.
Assistant commissioner and mission commander for the Australian Federal Police (AFP), Bruce Giles said 2 years ago it was not like this.
Giles said the new 4–Mile traffic facility is not just for Asia Pacific Economic Corporation (Apec) but for the future as well.
He urged the authorities to invest more in motor traffic.
The vehicles and motorbikes will assist them in preparations in terms of motorcade and escort during the Apec meeting.
After the opening of the facility, traffic trainingand other training will commence.
Police Director Traffic, Joe Joseph also thanked the people of Australia and the Australian Federal Police (AFP) for the development.
