Faith

THE Bougainville Mission of the Seventh day Adventist church recently graduated 22 students under the supervision of lecturer Pastor Jeffery Paul (retired) after 10 weeks of intensive training.
Among those that had graduated were three women. Guest speaker elder David Yaninan commended the Bougainville mission for taking the initiative to train young people to go out and make disciples for Jesus, fulfilling the Gospel commission of Matthew 28:18-20.
Bougainville local mission president Pr Julius Divu gave the keynote address.
He challenged the graduates to be like Apostle John and not Peter, to stand the test of trials and move forward in disciple making.
Representatives from the three regions, family members and mission field workers attended the weekend celebration with the graduation on Nov 3.
More students are expected to enrol next year.
