Boycotting classes illegal, teachers told

National

TEACHERS in East New Britain have been told that boycotting classes is illegal and if they do so they will be dealt with accordingly.
ENB education adviser Hubert Wangun told The National in Kokopo yesterday that PNG Teachers Association (PNGTA), which is their employer, says no to teachers nationwide regarding boycott this term.
Wangun said PNGTA was fighting for their rights.
Wangun also said an outstanding leave entitlement for more than 300 teachers in the province was estimated at around K1.5 million.
This outstanding leave entitlement is for 2017 and 2018.
