PORTABLE grain grinders and mincers were two of the major attractions at the Brian Bell and Company’s stall at the annual agricultural show at Bubia near Lae.

The stall drew a large number of visitors and queries.

Women’s groups involved in small scale cottage industries from Highlands provinces, Madang, Morobe and East New Britain showed a lot of interest in the company’s products.

Brian Bell representative John Tokunai said the portable grain grinders were ideal for domestic use but could also be used for semi-commercial production.

Tokunai said the grain grinders could turn dried corn, sorghum, peas, ginger and chilly into powder as way of earning money for people.

He told visitors to the stall the portable mincers could turn beef and pork meat into mince in the comfort of their homes.
