ICCC backs call
The Independent Consumer and Competition Commission has supported the call by Prime Minister James Marape that contractors must do fair bidding with the right price to get state contracts. Commissioner and chief executive officer Paulus Ain said business houses, relevant stakeholders and the public should know that bid rigging is illegal. He said bid rigging in public procurement is a serious anti-competitive conduct and is criminal in nature.

Marape applauded
Landowners of the PNG LNG Project site of Hides in Hela are looking forward to working with Prime Minister James Marape. The Greater Hides Council of Chiefs Inc representing landowners of petroleum development licence (PDL) 1, PDL 4 and PDL 7 in a statement applauded Marape’s stance on changing the resource laws especially the Oil & Gas Act and the Mining Act.
