Retired nurses called on
RETIRED nurses in East New Britain have been asked by authorities to register their names to the ENB Task Force team. Provincial administrator and state of emergency controller Wilson Matava has called on all retired nursing staff in the province to come and register their names with the provincial task force team in preparation to manage any Covid-19 cases in the province.

Online classes prepared
Students from Kiunga International School in Western will study online from home if the lockdown continues, principal Mapi Morea said. Morea said it was a joint effort by the school and its operator, International Education Agency of PNG (IEAPNG), to develop a contingency plan for remote learning. “As we have prepared, the school has given enough home tasks for students for the early holiday,” Morea said. “If the school holiday is prolonged, we will direct parents and students to online learning sites where students can work at their own pace.”
