SEPIK Fresh poultry products will be available on the market mid next month with the arrival of the first batch of 1,560 day-old chicks at the Huaripmo Farm in Yangoru, East Sepik, says Yangoru-Saussia MP Richard Maru. “East Sepik is going into commercial chicken meat production from our high tech Huaripmo Farm in the Sepik Plains,” he said. Maru said Sepik Fresh poultry products would compete with Zenag, Niugini Table Birds and imported chicken coming into East and West Sepik provinces.

He said learning from the experience of the Gazelle and Bougainville restoration, people had to be resettled with economic schemes.
