Brothers humiliate Harlequins in CRU

CAPITAL Rugby Union wrapped up its regular season last week with Brothers humiliating Harlequins 56-5 in their premier grade round 15 fixture at Bava Park.
The win served as a warning that the men in black are serious and ready to mount a challenge for the championship.
In the other Saturday match, the University Piggies meted out a 45-17 hammering to the Wanderers. The defending champs Piggies piled on the points against a spirited Wanderers outfit who probably are a season or two off being a genuine contender for the title.
In Sunday’s games Nova saw off Juggernauts 28-12 while Crusaders accounted for the Valley Hunters 34-21.
CRU now moves to its finals which will see the top four teams in each division take part.
The CRU is expected to advise clubs this week of the finals draw.
