BSP branch unfair to premium customers
The National, Friday July 25th, 2014
AS a regular BSP premium customer of the Boroko branch, I wish to raise my concern about how the tellers operate.
I have noticed in so many instances that many customers without the Premium Excess Card were allowed to use the services there, forcing those with the card to wait long hours in queue.
There is also a practice where the ‘whom-you-know system’ is being entertained at this branch, which is really frustrating.
While we are all in queue waiting to be served, someone would just walk in and skip the queue.
This is also happening right under the nose of the section supervisor, who seems to pretend that everything is okay.
On July 22, I went to the Premium Centre at 11.46 am with only five people in queue, but unfortunately, I was forced to wait for one hour and 16 minutes as the tellers were busy entertaining about six others who went by the ‘whom-you-know system’ without following the first-come, first-served system.
Can we stop this practice for the sake of all your good customers?
