A SCHOOL in Western Highlands has not received its school fee subsidy because it does not have an account with Bank South Pacific.
Mun Elementary School had been allocated K17,000 which it is yet to receive.
It continues to operate on a credit basis and hopes to repay what it owes once the funds are made available.
The school board blames BSP for failing to transfer the money to its account with another commercial bank.
Spokesman Pr John Kona said the delay was frustrating because the school needed money and could not continue to operate on credit forever.
No comment could be obtained from BSP.
