The Bank South Pacific Financial Group Ltd (BSP) has presented a camera to the students of the University of Papua New Guinea’s (UPNG) journalism and public relations strand.
Students were encouraged to put the camera to good use by producing quality work.
“Photographs and videos have become vital to communication, education and preservation of history” BSP public relations and communications manager Lavinia Mul said.
“As such, the bank was more than happy to present the camera to the students.
“Upcoming journalists should be equipped with a host of skills, both traditional and digital, we hope the device enhances student’s skills for your internal productions and other publications the strand has.”
This year, BSP has supported over 30 education projects in PNG through their community projects worth over K900,000.
