BSP gives K10,000 to uni’s MBA programme

Bank South Pacific has presented K10,000 towards supporting the University of PNG’s Masters in Business Administration (MBA) annual pinnacle programme.
The MBA annual pinnacle programme is a student initiative aimed to showcase the students’ research and the MBA programme.
Rosemary Mawe, of BSP, presented the money to the school of business and public policy’s deputy executive dean – academic and student affairs, Ponnusamy Manohar towards the 2018 MBA pinnacle.
“BSP is Papua New Guinean’s bank and one of its core values is people,” she said.
“Therefore, BSP is proud to invest in such initiatives that further improve the human resource of PNG who will ultimately help to progress the development of the country.”
Mawe congratulated the students on another successful year of planning.
She encouraged participants to use this opportunity to learn as much as they could and to share ideas to continue to address the many challenges affecting the business environment today.
Manohar thanked BSP for its continued support since 2015.
“We thank you and recognise that BSP is the leading financial institute in PNG and the Pacific,” he said.
