BSP Kriket Blast concludes mid-year games

BANK South Pacific Financial Group Limited’s (BSP) most successful junior sport development programme, BSP School Kriket completed its second quarter of the National Capital District School Kriket Blast at Amini Park in Port Moresby yesterday.
Ororo Primary school were too good for Tokarara Primary School, claiming both the female and male divisions of the Blasts.
BSP corporate sponsorship manager Amelia Minnopu commended Cricket Papua New Guinea for its hard work, commitment and stability in delivering the programme.
“The BSP School Kriket Blast is a fun and fast programme for children of all abilities to learn the skills of cricket and play the sport,” she said.
“The programme is focusing on developing the participation of boys and girls in cricket whilst developing young talents for the sport.
“We encourage more schools to take part in the programme.”
The Blasts is active in ten centres in the country with more than 50 schools participating.
