THE Bank South Pacific Financial Group Ltd (BSP) has supported a small-to-medium enterprise (SME) supply chain exhibition and seminar with a K20,000 sponsorship.
BSP SME Centre branch manager Susie Yapen said the sponsorship reinforced the drive to support and build PNG businesses.
The second PNG supply chain exhibition and seminar will have regional discussions starting in Port Moresby next month, followed by Arawa, Goroka, Jiwaka and Madang.
“One of BSP’s core value is the community and the bank is always happy to help people succeed through their small businesses,” Yapen said.
“And when they succeed, communities succeed to improve economic growth.
“We believe that the partnership with Strategic Communications Ltd, a PNG-owned marketing communications and market development specialist, will provide opportunities for micro businesses and SMEs to build networks and explore concrete business opportunities.”
Strategic Communications Ltd managing partner Nancy Runawery thanked BSP for the support.
“The event (exhibition and seminar) aims to enhance support for sustainable socio-economic development and national cohesion and unity, discussing the supply chain management challenges, cost reduction approaches, the improvement of overall organisational performance and customer satisfaction by improving product or service delivery experiences from soil to shelf,” she said.
