Bulolo teachers awaiting NID

BULOLO teachers have been waiting for their NID for a year and three months and it is frustrating.
The so-called NID officers sent to Bulolo to register teachers, promised us that we would receive our NID before 2020 school year commences.
Up until now we have not received our NID.
Every time we enquire, we are told it’s pending approval.
What kind of approval are they referring to? Other teachers and people who have registered after us have received their NID.
We are calling on the minister responsible and authorities engaged in NID project to help us investigate why Bulolo teachers are still on pending approval.
For teachers, NID is a condition of employment.
Simply to say that, no NID number provided on the duty resumption form means putting off the payroll.
I am calling on the sleeping giant Papua New Guinea Teachers Association to enquire on our behalf.
