Bundi LLG

CONGRATULATIONS to president elect of Bundi local level government David Gakana and his executives.
Elections come and go and the greatest responsibility now is to shoulder the burdens and hardships of your people in the 22 rural constituencies comprising lower and upper Bundi sub-district.
Usino-Bundi has been ranked amongst the least developed and most disadvantaged district in PNG despite having two of the biggest revenue earner Ramu Agri Industry Ltd and Ramu Nickel/Cobalt mine.
There is a huge potential for this district to advance economically if there is an aggressive development approach taken by all three LLGs; Usino, Bundi and Gama.
There must be a shared vision for our district spearheaded by our local MP followed by our LLG presidents and the ward councillors.
Mutual understanding, cooperation, unity and team spirit must be the pillar on which all three LLGs must hold unto strongly and LLG presidents should lead by example.
The onus to awaken Usino-Bundi Gama –the sleeping giant of the Momase – and transform it to a vibrant rural economic hub rests with our local MP, the LLG presidents, ward councillors and every one of us.
