He later returned to the classrooms to impart what he had learned in business world by launching his third edition for business textbooks 4, 5 and 6 last Sunday at the Melanesian Hotel.
The books included Bookkeeping for Small Business, Buk Bilong Liklik Bisnis (Tok Pisin version) and Introductory Accounting for Upper Secondary.
A novel was in the process of being published while Bookkeeping for Small Business and its workbook, including Bookkeeping for Small Business 2nd Edition, are in circulation.
Morobe education adviser Joe Solulu said the textbooks suited PNG context for academic excellence by students.
He said he was impressed with the books and encouraged other schools to buy them.
Jiram, who began writing in 1996, also encouraged other teachers to write books that were practical and could be easily understood by students.
The Education Department had paid for 3,000 copies to be printed.
