Buy smaller car, RPNGC

I REFER to your report “Tondop: Defective vehicles to go” (April 27).
It is not a new issue as we will always have defective vehicles on the road in NCD.
Even some police vehicles are not up to scratch.
The metropolitan commander should not complain about a lack of vehicles to respond to criminal activities.
We have so many police vehicles in NCD enough to cover the entire city but these vehicles are not properly utilised.
Another observation I want to make is that many police vehicles are eight-seaters and more.
Do we really need such vehicles?
Wouldn’t it be better if police vehicles were smaller like most sedan cars?
The money spent on a troop carrier is enough to buy three sedans.
