A MOROBE man had a smile on his face on Saturday after winning a 19-foot (6m) banana boat and a 40-horsepower engine worth K22,000.
Notu Pisai, 50, from Maiama village in Morobe local level government, Huon district, had his receipt drawn out of thousands from customers who bought zoom at Anderson Express, Snack Bar, in Lae.
The promotion has been running for two years.
It is a way to give back to regular zoom fuel buyers at the service station.
All a customer had to do was spend K150 or above on zoom.
Pisai in July spent K1510 and his receipt was dropped into the entry bin provided for the boat promotion.
“My dream has come true at this time of the year,” he said.
“It is an early Christmas gift to me and my family.
“When buying zoom here, I had this urge in me to win this boat promotion and it has come to pass.
“I thank the Anderson Express management and staff for running this promotion to give back to the customers who buy zoom here at the service station.”
Chemcare Group Ltd managing director Kerry McDonough said this was the second year of the promotion and it would run again next year.
