THE Southern Strikers meet Bougainville in the Kumul Petroleum National Soccer League Southern Conference at the Sir John Guise Stadium tomorrow.
The Strikers were forced to settle for a draw against Port Moresby United last week when both clubs were unable to find a winner after the scores were locked at 3-3.
The Strikers and Bougainville met in game five of round one where both sides played out a 1-1 draw.
Bougainville coach David Passam will be determined to secure maximum points after his side went down to Central United 2-1 last weekend.
Passam was disappointed last weekend after his side failed to get anything out of the match against their fellow NSL rookies.
But the Margaret Aka-coached Strikers will also be determined to seal a win after an ordinary first round in the semi-professional competition.
Strikers Pettyshen Elijah and Sylvester Wanim were solid last weekend and will be again be Aka’s go-to players.
Meanwhile, in the other matches Gulf Komara face Port Moresby United, Star Mountain go up against Central United and the Jerry Allen-coached Hekari United take on the Eastern Stars.
Hekari remain undefeated.
