Call for sides to register for NCD festive tourney

National Capital District Governor’s Christmas Cup organisers say eight teams have shown interest to compete in the rugby league tournament at the Kone Tigers Oval.
“The annual tournament is set to start on Dec 22 and we will only accept 32 teams,” tournament director Bosky Koke said. Koke called on interested teams to register before Dec 17.
“All registrations are to be paid into POM Suburban Sports League Association Inc account number 1001388962,” Koke said.
“Spots will be offered on a first-come-first-serve basis, so I urge all the interested teams in NCD to register before the deadline.”
Koke said he could be contacted on 75418154 for further information.
He said tournament officials Thomas Mote (79425702) and James Paul (71226249) were also available to assist interested teams with more information.
The teams that have already shown interest are Pom Muruks, RCB Eagles, 9-Mile Giants, Telikom Spiders, Mountain Bulls, Pom Suburban Select Side and Erima Hurricanes.
