WOMEN Textile Training Centre (WTTC) in Manus province can increase the domestic productions from the current 5% if the extension programmes are properly coordinated in the districts.
These remarks were made by the president of Lelemadih Bupi Chupeu LLG, Samson Pohakiu, during the presentation of K50,000 to the LLG recently.
Mr Pohakiu said work on the training centre would start shortly in four parts:
* Renovation of the facility at the cost of K10,000;
* Procurement of sewing machines and training equipment at K25,000;
* Training costs at K10,000; and
*  Administration costs at K5,000.
The facility site will be inclusive of Lelemadih Bupi Chupeu administration centre while the WTTcentre for the LLG is expected to be completed in November.
