THE Government can solve the problems at the University of Technology in Lae by following the recommendations of the Sevua Commission of Inquiry, Opposition leader Belden Namah says.

Namah and Rabaul MP Dr Allan Marat told reporters yesterday that the Government must release the Sevua report

“The question that everyone should be asking is why is Peter O’Neill is holding back the Sevua Report,” Marat said.

“There are a lot of recommendations in the report and we’d like to know what they are.

“The report recommends the urgent recall of Dr Albert Schram as Vice Chancellor. So we would like to know why is he not being called back.”

Namah said: “What’s the purpose of establishing a commission of inquiry and not acting on its recommendations?

“It will be of general importance for the Prime Minister to make known the findings of the commission of inquiry.”
