Call to work together

Letters

THE remorse expression of the former PM Peter O’ Neill over Marape’s sacking of PNC members within is party, with the mention of his ill-reputed legacy as the best his Government has delivered is quite frustrating. |
Since when did we see his government delivering the best in anyone of those eight years during his tenure as a PM?
O’Neill said he would not sit by and let the current government derail the hard work he and his government has done during the last eight years.
What utter nonsense!
This is hypocrisy at its best.
Look around you, is the nation enjoying anything good you and your government have accomplished that is worth the glory you deserve?
Those PNC remnants whom the PM disbanded from his cabinet and thrown to the opposition were not like-minded in the likes of his objectives but rather resilient in promoting something else not in the interest of his government and so he had to let them go.
It really irks us to keep hearing O’Neill reiterating about all the good works all the time when his government has achieved nothing but utter ruins.
It is time to work together as one nation irrespective of whichever faction you belong.
When a better foundation is laid, work together to build it up the way it’s planned as long as it is good and not dismantle it with your egos.
We are in a devastating circumstance with enormous loan debts, unstable government and a crippled economy.
Stop wasting time talking nonsense and start working.

  • The echo of what the former PM said of The Member for Finchafen goes back to him like this “he is not worth responding to” now.
