Can we believe the govt?

Letters

PAPUA New Guinea is at the beginning of a new era of change, says Prime Minister Peter O’Neill.
O’Neill has assured that PNG is on the road to prosperity in its short and long-term goals.
Whether it is true or not is the question.
When O’Neill assures us that we will be prosperous and fruitful in 2018, there will be challengers opposing him, saying he is lying and all sorts of things to downplay him.
This may force people to take sides.
Try watch the movie ‘Hotel Rwanda’ and you will see the clash between Hutus and Tutsis because of people taking sides.
Imagine what will happen to us if we follow the same trend.
The Government must not play politics and manipulate the people.
There were reports and findings from International Monetary Fund that our economy is collapsing.
Why is the Government assuring us that 2018 will better when there are reports saying otherwise?
