Canada’s LNG top execs in POM

THE officials of Canada’s LNG Energy Ltd are in the country for the mining and petroleum seminar to be held at Crowne Plaza in Port Moresby.
Led by company president Dave Afseth, they will be presenting a paper titled, Exploration, pros-pects scoping economics tomorrow.
Mr Afseth said they were here to make as many contacts as they could with stakeholders that they work with in the country.
He is accompanied by Richard Scherer, vice-president of engineering and operations; and Kenneth Jones, vice-president, explorations.
They will be in the country until Saturday.
The seminar is hosted by the Chamber of Mining and Petroleum with the theme “Helping PNG to develop its full potential”.
LNG Energy (PNG) Ltd, which is the PNG office for LNG Energy, is an exploration group with four petroleum licences (PPL) and one petroleum retention licence (PRL) in North New Guinea Basins and  in Gulf province.
