Car rental firm backs 2015 Games

THE 2015 Pacific Games Organising Committee will benefit from Hertz following their silver sponsorship announcement yesterday at the company head office at  7-Mile.

Hertz will sponsor vehicles for the Games Organising Committee fleet only.

The sponsorship includes K500,000 and will be for the next two-and-a-half-years. 

Already the Pacific Games Organising Committee has benefited by the fleet in use now for over 20% of the silver sponsorship.  

It is obvious that by the end of the two and a half years, Hertz support to the 2015 Pacific Games will have been more than the present silver sponsorship deal it has. 

Managing director Ron Seddon said he was around the 1991 South Pacific Games and saw the event but did not participate then. 

“We are happy that Papua New Guinea is hosting the 2015 Pacific Games and Hertz is able to be part of it through the silver sponsorship package,” Seddon said.

He encouraged other businesses regardless of size to get behind the 2015 Pacific Games and help make it the best ever.
