According Fr Clement Talam Dean of Manus Deanery and parish priest of Papitalai, youths from six parishes and three sub parishes attended the rally.
He said the youths were committed to the programme which he and another priest, Fr Lawernce Sapau, facilitated at the rally.
He said Manus Governor Charlie Benjamin and MP and Parliament Speaker Job Pomat assisted with funding.
Fr Clement said the governor officially opened the rally and Pomat was supposed to close the programme but due to other commitments he was unable to attend.
Provincial Police Commander chief inspector David Yapu gave a speech and closed the youth rally.
Yapu said law and order issues involving youths throughout the country was a serious problem and should be seriously addressed by government, churches and stakeholders in the community.
He said funding should be made available to support the youth programmes so they could be involved in lawful activities.
