CCA consumer campaign launched

COCA-Cola Amatil (PNG) Limited along with partner, the National AIDS Council (NAC), yesterday announced this year’s Nature’s Own HIV/AIDS consumer campaign launch.
Last year, CCA launched PNG’s first Nature’s Own HIV/AIDS campaign asking all Papua New Guineans to support the fight against HIV/AIDS.
The Coca-Cola PNG Foundation launched during last year’s campaign with a contribution of K50,000 and through a donation of 10 toea from every bottle sold, the consumer raised K100,000.
The total donation to the NAC was K150,000.
“This year, CCA will double the consumer target to K200,000.
“For every bottle sold, The Coca-Cola PNG Foundation will donate 20 toea to further support NAC programmes and we again ask for all Papua New Guineans to support this worthy cause,” CCA national marketing manager Louise Maher said.
From this month through December, Nature’s Own 600ml and 1.5l product will feature the distinct red closure and promotional label, communicating the campaign.
“A heavy media schedule has been planned to raise awareness and motivate consumer participation through our media partners, EMTV, PNGFM, The National and Post-Courier.
“Point-of-sale material will also be activated in-store featuring an English and Tok Pisin version which will further strengthen this powerful message.
“It is our objective as a caring corporate citizen to support the fight against HIV/AIDS in PNG,” Ms Maher said.To kick start the campaign, six complimentary cartons of water were delivered to all media in Lae.
