A TEAM from the censorship office visited Caritas Technical Secondary School to carry out awareness about its role.
Students were informed about some of the dangers of online service abuse that they may not have been aware of.
The office plans to carry out awareness under its NCD Education Awareness Programme in terms two and three.
Chief Censor Steven Mala urged his officers in a briefing to conduct the awareness at a level that would best suit students’ understanding and focus on mediums of online interaction like Facebook and whatsapp.
Mala said the aim of the awareness was to educate young people on the role of the censorship office so they can easily identify dangers online and protect themselves.
