THE Port Moresby Bahai Youth Conference began in the National Capital District last Friday with the theme: ‘Contributing to the advancement of civilisation’.
The four-day gathering brought
together more than 200 youths from the Southern region.
The youths came from five clusters – Rigo Central and Rigo inland, Cloudy Bay, Kairuku, Woitape (Goilala
district) and NCD.
Topics covered at the conference included The Period of Youth, Early Adolescence, Fostering Mutual Support and Assistance, Youth and Community Building, and Contributing to the Advancement of Civilisation.
The Bahai Church will host three of the youth conferences in NCD, and the other two will be held in Lae, Morobe and Alotau, Milne Bay.
