Central man wins car

GIMA Pala’s dream of owning a car has become a reality after he won Digicel Super Eight competition on Wednesday.
The 33-year-old father of two was speechless when he received a call from Digicel at 9am yesterday notifying him of his win.
He works as a driver for G4S Security Services where he also provides security service for Esso Highlands in Central.
He said he could not believe it at first so he called someone he knew from Digicel to confirm the news.
“I am speechless and still can not believe my win,” he said.
“I am grateful to Digicel for making my dream of owning a car come true.”
He now has a car to travel from Vabukori to town.
Digicel Chief Operations Officer Darren McLean saidthe promotion was the biggest they had ever come up with.
Digicel is giving away seven more vehicles to its customers.
“To enter, simply top up your mobile by K2 or more.
“The more top up you make, the more chances you have to win,” he said.
