Central Sepik a gimmick

I THINK MP Gabriel Kapris’ proposal for a Central Sepik province should be weighed out as it seems to pop up at a   critical time, right before the election.
As minister for commerce in the former government, multi-million kina deals were made including the Pacific Marine Industrial Zone in Madang and the 4-Mile casino, but both are incomplete. Why?
What about the deteriorating feeder roads, poor conditions of schools and markets, the lack of resources at rural aid posts and absence of proper banking services?
If there is shortage of funds, where are the     DSIP or donor funds for counter-part funding?
Recently, Kapris shifted to the O’Neill-Namah camp.
Is this in the best interest of the people or a cover-up as the Task Force Sweep looks into past operations?
Kapris should have proposed this long ago if it was indeed his dream.
We need a visionary leader, not someone who spends money on unfinished projects and his empire at the expense of the people’s money.
