PRESIDENT of the Central province council of women Laeko Bala has raised concerns on the disappearance of more than K2 million released under the rehabilitating education sector infrastructure for Laloki Secondary School.
Bala, who has just been appointed a member to the school board, said she was shocked when the chairman announced this in the board meeting last week  and appealed to people involved to return or reimburse the school.
“The money belongs to the school children and we must not sit back and let the culprits get away with this. That money must be reimbursed,” Bala said adding that the school would soon go into technical status next year and needed that money for development.
