Centre aims to produce book

The research centre for University of Goroka’s School of Humanities is working towards launching a first journal produced by the centre.
The Centre for Melanesian Studies’ journal aims to feature collated research work by academics, students and non-academic staff who want to publish work supported by the faculty.
The school is made up of these divisions: language and literature, business studies, social science, indigenous and development studies and communication and creative arts.
Director for the Centre for Melanesian Studies Dr Jane Awi is coordinating workshops and seminars where techniques and ways of communicating cross cutting issues using drama will be launched.
