ONE of the leading private job training providers in information technology and business studies in the country is willing to partner provincial governments and district development authorities to provide training for their staff and students.
IT Job Training Centre (ITJTC) managing director Sunny Sun said providing cost-effective competency-based training was not the only priority of the institution. It also provided employment for students after they complete their training, he said.
“The important aspect of our training is that we provide flexible and affordable competency-based training in IT and business studies,” Sun said. “Which means we tailored our training based on the need and the skills that is required by an organisation, which we have been doing for many private companies and government departments.
“Our aim now is to partner with provincial governments and district development authorities to provide training that are crucial to improve their work performance.”
Sun said provinces and districts are welcome to sponsor students for IT and business studies at the centre.
“We are one of the certified and accredited training institution in the country and we would like to partner with provincial and district governments to extend our training to cover the wider population,” he said.
Sun said the centre was unique because it also provided employment opportunities for its students after training. “This is something that is unique to ITJTC,” he said.
The institute opened a campus on Manus Island last week.
