THE high technology demand and new development taking place globally make it vital for one to broaden knowledge through further studies, acting chief executive officer for Road Traffic Authority Nelson Terema says.

Terema, from Telma village, Tambul district, Western Highlands, and 11 others graduated with a master’s in business administration (executive programme) at the 47th graduation at the PNG University of Technology recently.

“We have to cope with the current changes with advance knowledge and skills to deliver the best in terms of development in the workforce. Education does not stop, but continues,” Terema, who served in the National Road Safety Council in the last 16 years, said.

In any organisation or workforce, challenges would always be there before planning and implementation to achieve the development goals, he said.

“Continuation of studies helps to improve performance within the time frame so the practical output is quality,” the father of seven said.

He urged students in high schools, secondary schools and tertiary institutions and those in the workforce to be committed and give their best as future human resource of the country.
