Change attitudes

Letters

HUNTERS Tok Stret (pen name) in a recent letter in The National seemed to be of the view that the teams run of dismal performances that have kept them at the bottom of the ladder is probably due to some loss of fire in Michael Marum’s coaching hence suggested a search for a new coach.
However, on the contrary, some of us supporters and members of the public tend to think that the problem of not performing to expectation is to do with a lack of at least 80 let alone 100 per cent commitment by some of the players.
Could it be a case of being in the newly-found limelight that is getting the better of their characters?
Or maybe it’s just a plain case of just not being able to resist the lure of clubbing and misbehaving into the wee hours hence either not turning up for trainings or not being as fit as they should be.
With that kind of attitudes, Marum or any experienced or firebrand international coach, will continue to have their work cut out for them.
There must be a change in attitudes by the players themselves.
