Change governing system

A YEAR has passed since James Marape took office as Papua New Guinea’s prime minister. In his national address, he made a bold and profound statement “take back PNG and make PNG the first richest black Christian nation”.
As the clock ticks away, I come to realise the dawn of the statement rising in the horizon.
PNG is naturally rich and will forever be rich into eternity.
No person, no organisation, no country on earth can ever make or come and make us rich.
Some countries built their empires on PNG’s wealth.
We gained political independence but are economic slaves to the Westminster system and foreigners.
We implement destructive foreign policies that are introduced by foreign consultants which does not work in foreign nations. Take back PNG and make PNG rich means reclaiming the birthright.
Change the Westminster system into republican system of government.
Economic laws in this system are designed to deplete us for foreign benefit.
The Government should immediately create policies for all gold extracted in the country to be refined, stocked and sold onshore.
The immediate effect will be the increase in the value of kina against foreign currencies and increase in forex.
