Change law to punish troublemakers

THE recent Kandep by-election is truly a waste of public funds, resources and time.
The Organic Law of this country should be amended to make parties and/or candidates responsible for any law and order problems that affect polling in the area they are contesting.
The Organic Law should also penalise candidates whose supporters who disrupt polling by disqualifying them instantly.
It is these ignorant and mindless individuals who cause so much trouble and drain the country of its resources.
As someone from the medical industry, it was truly disgusting to see an endless convoy of the latest Land Crusiers guarding a few boxes of papers while the majority of the people in this country struggle to raise funds to pay for their medical expenses or the health centre I am attached with pleading in vain for a vehicle or ambulance.
